This weekend we’ll be having 3 members heading out for races. Andrew and Craig will be heading up north for the Putrajaya 70.3, Raymond will be holding the fort at Changi, joining the Metasprint Triathlon. It’s been a while since I’ve raced in a triathlon (July 2013 – IM Zurich), maybe I should get myself into a race before Frankfurt in July.
If you guys are wondering who Craig is, let me do him a favour and just call him the “King-of-Selfies”. Look out for him in Putrajaya this weekend and help take some pictures for him coz I don’t think he’ll take any selfies that day :))
Ben and Chris has concluded a phase in ironproject after their 70.3 Auckland in January. Ben has pledged $150 to “Make a Wish Foundation”, check out his journey here.I’m pretty sure it won’t be his last race and he won’t let his Speed Concept gather dust at home.
Chris Kang has pledged a total of $58 to “Singapore Red Cross Society”, taking a break from racing for a while after the race in Auckland; we’re hoping to seeing him back in action soon next year.
Arthur has probably been the most hardworking of the lot, clocking over $150 for “Home Nursing Foundation” after Auckland’s race and still counting; his hours are coming in fast and furious as we are counting down the weeks to IM Frankfurt. It’s 13 weeks to go just in case you are wondering.
I’m at about $190+ at the moment, counting from just after I got back from IM Zurich last July 2013. Training has been coming in a bit slowly in January, but I’ve picked it up and it seems to be in full swing at the moment. Taking loads of vitamins to keep the immune system up.
